Expanding
Alright, well, I suppose I’m going to go down my own Facebook feed and see what’s been going on.

First off, I’d like to do a little promoting for Society6. I found them yesterday, and they are an awesome site with some amazing art. You can buy prints, shirts, canvases, but most importantly iPhone cases! They had one of their cases featured on Gizmodo and I couldn’t resist taking a look at what they had. I was very impressed with the art and the huge selection of cases. I haven’t quite decided yet, but I’m fairly certain this will be my first case for my new CDMA iPhone 4.
Oh right, PSN failure. Well, I’m not going to say I told you so.. but the biggest rule of the Internet for large corporations (or anyone really) is DO NOT piss off Anon. Sony patched the PS3 jailbreak, GeoHot kept going, Sony sued GeoHot. Of course, Anonymous could not tolerate this, so they do what they do best.. point their lazorz at them. NOW, I do believe that this should have been decided way back during the beginning of the lawsuit, but to my knowledge, shouldn’t the same rule that makes the jailbreaking of iPhones legal apply to other hardware as well? If you’re modifying hardware with the express purpose of running outside scripts, applications, and modifications on it, doesn’t that basically fall under the same category? In any case, the Sony PSN servers were hacked, personal data is loose, blah blah blah. This is not exactly an everyday occurrence, but neither is it unheard of. Just not long ago the Gawker network had their data compromised and it wasn’t nearly as big an issue as this is being made out to be. Granted, I would assume more people use PSN than have Gawker accounts, but even relatively we shouldn’t have this large of an uproar. Just treat it like you lost your wallet, and everything will be alright.
TL;DR: This shouldn’t even be happening, but it’s not that big a deal anyway.
Oh dear, Portal 2. I only have two things to say about that.
- Valve, thou hast restored mine great faith in you. You are to be congratulated. GG
- SPAAAAAAAAAAAACE!!
And for the final note:
I realized THAT is how I rest my fingers on a keyboard when I’m not using it. Damn.
